Our activities include:
Public gardens planted and maintained by the membership of the club:
The Library Garden, Princeton
The Hazleton Community Center Garden
We Give:
Financial support to the Gibson County Fair Board for the restoration of
THE HISTORIC POULTRY BUILDING located on the Fair Grounds.
Financial support to Home Extension Service for Gibson Co. Fair, Open
Class for Flowers & Plants Exhibit.
Donation of time or financial support to the growth of the Lowell
Elementary School Garden.
Donation through "The Garden Club of Indiana, Inc. " to the Horticulture
Scholarship fund.
Contribution to Conservation Land Trusts - State of Indiana.
Support "Habit for Humanity" program on a state, district, or local level.
Develop programs focused on new plants and garden care.
Host Flower Show in coordination with the Gibson County Master
Gardener's garden tour, June 17th 2006 at Activities building at Fairgrounds
and is open to public.
