EDUCATION

North Gibson School Corporation educates over 2,000 youths each year from Princeton, Patoka, Hazleton and the Mt. Olympus areas in Patoka, Washington and White River townships.

North Gibson offers Alternative Solutions, an alternative program serving the educational needs of selected high school students in an alternative environment as opposed to the traditional classroom setting.

The corporation also offers an Adult Education program, which allows adults to earn a high school diploma.

All North Gibson schools have full access to the Internet, all schools are fully networked and all schools, as well as the corporation, have web pages. Each school has one or more computer labs, as well as technology distributed through the classrooms. The corporation's home page, which has links to all of the schools' home pages, may be accessed at www.ngsc.k12.in.us.

The corporation is a member of the national Standardbearer School District Network, an ongoing process of refining and delivering standards of excellence in local education.

The superintendent's office is located at the Princeton Community High School on Old Highway 41 North. The office telephone number is (812) 385-4851.
