C. Fowler
Little is known about the
nineteenth Mayor of Princeton, other than Talbott “Tab” C.
Fowler was born on February 4, 1889 in Lynnville, Indiana. Fowler moved from Evansville to Princeton and resided here
the rest of his life. Fowler
married Ruth I. Sutton on March 16,1909. Later in life he was
married to Flora Josephine Fowler.
Fowler was a baker by trade and
had owned and operated the Fowler’s Bakery near the square.
Fowler was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Prince
Lodge for more than 67 years.
