The
following is categories of building sewer permits with the corresponding
fees that are charged for connecting to the Princeton sewage works system.
The
property owner is responsible for paying the tap fee, acquiring all
permits required such as permission to cut the street or alley. The
property owner is also responsible for making the connection from the home
or business to the cities mainline.
If
a contractor is installing the sewer line from the home or business to the
cities mainline it is the contractors responsibility confirm that the
property owner has acquired all permits and paid all fees.

A Single-Family Equivalent (SFE) is defined as the average
amount
of water for a single-family home using 802 cubic feet
(6,000
gallons) per month.
Any
person or company connecting to the sewage works
system
with out a permit shall be fined up to $2,500.
For
any building left vacant more than two (2) years, as reflected by
the
city’s water billing records, there shall be a $600 re-connect
fee. |
